Troubleshooting Guide
This guide provides solutions to common issues encountered while using the AV systems at MxD. If you experience any problems, follow the steps below to troubleshoot effectively.
1. AV System Won't Power On
Symptoms:
- The AV system does not respond when the power button is pressed.
Solutions:
Check Power Connections:
- Ensure that all power cables are securely connected to the AV equipment.
- Verify that the power outlet is functioning by testing it with another device.
- Ensure propper network cable is connected to the panel.
Inspect the Touch Panel:
- If the Atlona Velocity touch panel is unresponsive, try rebooting it by unplugging it from power for a few seconds and then reconnecting it.
Automatic Power-On:
- Confirm that the system is scheduled to power on automatically 30 minutes before meetings. Check the calendar integration to ensure meetings are scheduled correctly.
2. Audio or Video Issues During Meetings
Symptoms:
- Participants cannot hear audio or see video during a meeting.
Solutions:
Check Mute Settings:
- Ensure that the microphone and speakers are not muted on the touch panel interface.
Verify Input Sources:
- Check that the correct input source is selected on the touch panel for both audio and video.
3. Unable to Join Scheduled Meetings
Symptoms:
- The Yealink touch panel does not display scheduled meetings.
Solutions:
Refresh the Touch Panel:
- Tap the screen to wake it up and refresh the meeting list.
Check Calendar Integration:
- Ensure that the calendar system integrated with the AV system is functioning correctly and that meetings are scheduled in the correct format.
Manual Join:
- If the meeting does not appear, use the meeting link provided in the calendar invite to join via the join meeting button on the panel.
4. Content Sharing Problems
Symptoms:
- Users are unable to share content during meetings.
Solutions:
- Wired Connection:
- Ensure that the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the device and the AV system.
- Ensure the correct input and output settings are correct in the Room Control setting on the Yealink control panel.
- Ensure that the Atlona video encoder at the table is showing all green led lights.

- Wireless Sharing:
- If using wireless sharing, confirm that the Yealink WPP30 dongle is connected to the device and the interface is breathing green.
- Ensure the teams/Yealink inputs are assigned to the correct output/ display in the room control interface.
