  • Purpose of the Room: Demonstration and collaboration area focused on live interaction with equipment, digital twins, and real-time industrial processes.
  • AV System Usage: Supports Microsoft Teams conferencing, large-format display presentations, kiosk-based product interaction, and comprehensive multi-camera video capture.
  • Key Features:
    • 16-foot by 9-foot LED video wall with HDMI input switching
    • Four Planar 55-inch touchscreen kiosks for product demos
    • Three LG commercial touch displays (55UH5F, 65UH5F, and 86TR3DK)
    • Six PTZ cameras (Yealink)
    • Six Biamp pendant speakers
    • Three Biamp pendant microphones
    • Shure wireless microphone system (four headsets, two handhelds)
    • Yealink mTouch II panel for AV control

AV System Details

  • Control System:

    • Yealink mTouch II panel centrally manages all video conferencing, mic routing, camera control, and input switching.
  • Networking:

    • AV components are part of the managed AV VLAN, including Yealink, Atlona, and kiosk elements.

User Instructions

  • Getting Started:

    1. Turn on the AV system using the Yealink mTouch II panel.
    2. Select the input source (Teams, HDMI device, kiosk content).
    3. Route video content to the LED wall as required.
  • Advanced Usage:

    • Use the panel to switch camera views across the shop floor.
    • Present demos using the kiosks or wirelessly connect a laptop to the yealink system.
  • Room Etiquette:

    • Do not obstruct or tamper with PTZ cameras.
    • Place wireless microphones in chargers when finished.

Troubleshooting

  • Common Issues & Fixes:
    • No video on LED wall: Confirm HDMI input at the AV rack is active.
    • Kiosk not responding: Restart the kiosk and check for touch calibration.
    • No sound: Check microphone power and mTouch panel volume settings.

Maintenance & Support

  • Cleaning & Care:

    • Use microfiber cloths on kiosks and small displays.
    • Do not attempt to clean the large LED wall with any material.
    • Sanitize wireless microphones and ensure they are docked when idle.
  • Routine Checks:

    • Test kiosk screens for responsiveness.
    • Verify LED wall switching functions from AV rack.
    • Check camera positioning and mic battery levels weekly.
